The only problem in choosing Hardin, for me at least, is that he wants me to wipe out the Van Graffs, which I don't want to do considering it'd lower my rep in Freeside. User Info: Bat Actually, killing the Van Graffs does not lower your Freeside reputation or karma, neither does stealing from them.
This is like putting a t-Rex against a chicken. Oh fo-rizzle? Hardin it is then. Make sure you buy the unique weapons from them first if you have GRA, though. Sometimes the weapons will transfer to the Gun Runners if you kill the Van Graffs, but sometimes they won't. User Info: jonas The Brotherhood, in that case, winds up pretty much like the Enclave. So, I suppose if you want to unleash a short-sighted, technology-obsessed, para-militaristic group on the Mojave, and then destroy all other sources of stability, then Hardin is the right choice.
How much of rational behavior is only rational when rationalized? A easy way to kill the Van Graffs is, if you haven't done Birds of a Feather, start it, and let the guy with the revolver in. He will kill all the Van Graffs except for Simon for you. Just kill Simon, and the quest is complete. Make sure you steal all the weapons on the main desk By taking them to the bathroom Not putting them into your inventory, just moving them and then stealing them before you do this, though, because he will destroy all the weapons on the desk if you don't.
McNamarra was sending out scouts for getting information, after which he realizes his position and makes a deal with the winning power and gets absorbed by them. Hardin is a person who HAS no information. His policies are not better, just more ignorant. User Info: AquamanOS. Neither of them is really going to help the Brotherhood in the end, which would require more drastic change and oh I don't know perhaps not marking everyone with advanced tech an enemy.
Which neither of them really seem willing to do. Even if you ally them with NCR part of the deal is that they take back the NCR's power armors which admittedly they aren't using properly anyway but still..

That quest sounds like it's from a mod. Return to Colonel Moore and speak to her about the offered truce. This method should work if the player has completed all main BoS quests as well. Note: If the player chooses to help usurp McNamara, they will be unable to broker a treaty.

You can join the BoS after Hardin is installed, but you probably aren't going to like the terms if you are playing as one of those lawful types.
Truce with the NCR, however, will be impossible. Learn more. Is it true? Ask Question. Asked 10 years, 9 months ago. Active 5 years, 6 months ago.
