Apparently I was quite lazy about completing quests toward the end of MoP on an alt. Dropped Father's Footsteps quest, picked it back up again to confirm - at least right now, there are 3 of them around the fire. View in 3D Links. This object can be found in Townlong Steppes. Live PTR. Classic TBC. Quick Facts. There will be a room with 'Niuzao Sentinel' in it sleeping. The bedroll is in the middle. Shield: Right outside of the bedroll. Ha-Cha: Go up the ramp and go to the center where there is stairs going down. Ha-Chan will be the yak. Sentinel Yalo is somewhere but I can't find him again.
But everything is in the temple area. Comment by To be a bit clearer on Ha-Cha, the yak, is up either one of the two sets of stairs on the side of the main staircase leading to the set of quest givers. If you go up the right stair, as you face the main staicase, you'll see Sentinel Yalo, keep going up for bedroll and shield, up a bit more and you'll see a short stair down, to the right, to Ha-Cha. Comment by ArgentSun After you complete this quest, Ku-Mo, the questgiver, will move to the Shado-Pan Garrison all in favor that it's a pretty shabby garrison?
As of the current beta build, this quest is not liked to the previous one as a part of the chain, and Ku-Mo doesn't indicate that you can find him in the Garrison in any way. I can't really verify the following, as the quest is obviously not repeatable, but I believe you can only get Seeking Father on a day when the Shado-Pan dailies include Friends, Not Food!
If I recall correctly, I had to give a kite to the father. So there, that may be it. Comment by Guy19 They're all on top of the castle wall.

Comment by Kozzie Take the stairs at Bedroll is located in the tower. Comment by Runethia At lvl 90, and Friendly with Shado-Pan, I flew across the bridge from the Shado-Pan Garrison towards the Niuzao Temple when this wee small boy quest-giver named Ku-Mo showed up standing at 43,65 just off the bridge on the Temple side.
The only other Townlong Steppes quest at the time was "Understanding The Shado-Pan" so couldn't speak to any prerequisites, but I've never seen him before today. Possibly a rotated breadcrumb to bring people into the area?
